About Jamie Pond
The newest addition to the Plexus team, I joined the company in January 2006. After gaining my degree in Genetics at Glasgow University I wandered the bleak fields of the retail world (well I worked in computer games shop) trying to decide where to go with my career.I stay in Inverness with my wife Ruth. I do the reverse commute with Garve to Cromarty in the mornings. We probably spend as long driving to work as many people spend waiting before the Kessock bridge in the winter.
I spend my spare time trying to keep fit but usually just end up going to the sauna and steamroom, although I have been known to make it to the associated gym occasionally (very occasionally). Or indulging my deep love of films. A passion which when combined with Dave's love of cinema frequenty results in a very bored looking Garve.
I have yet to be captured on film with a cake due to my attempt to stay strong and go against the Plexus love of the baked good by eating fruit. However, my will has been swayed a few times and the tabloid style shot of me with cake will probably follow here soon... [Gotcha!]
