AAA - Gaelic Place Names

Ainmean-Àite na h-Alba is the new national body for Gaelic place-names in Scotland. A partnership, it draws on expertise from a number of nationally and internationally recognised organisations as well as local knowledge.
Its purpose is to produce authoritative forms of Gaelic place-names and street signs throughout Scotland for a variety of users. Such information might be used by local authorities and other public bodies, mapping agencies and members of the public.
Having already completed a series of regional Gaelic sites, we were contacted to prepare a design and suitable database admin system for this Gaelic Placenames web site. A clean professional look was essential, as was the ability to tie-into other sites database systems for the exchange of place-name data.
The site includes our trademark simplicity of editing and maintenance, meaning that the administrators spends the minimum of time updating the site, and can get back to their real work quickly.
