HiMATS - Highland & Islands Accredited Training Services

The latest version of the HiMATS website went live today. They had wanted a new design for their website to reflect their new logo and branding. The website is built using the latest version of our administration system, enabling them to quickly and easily make changes when they like.

HiMATS as it is know is a voluntary led training organisation working throughout Highland and Moray.

HiMATS offers a range of qualifications for staff working with children and families together with more generic qualifications in Management, Team Leading, Learning & Development including the Assessor and Internal Verifier Awards and PC Passport.

HiMATS works closely with Highland Council to deliver Scottish Qualification Awards (SQA) accredited Qualifications in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and Playwork to practitioners who need to meet the registration requirements of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and with Skills Development Scotland to deliver Skillseekers and Modern Apprenticeships to young school-leavers entering the Childhood Practice Profession.
