Mountain Woodlands website sprouts forth

Several sites throughout Scotland with mountain woodlands, are undertaking habitat restoration and have specific proposals for access and interpretation works.

The project aims to assess the current state of Scotland’s threatened mountain woodlands and involve the public in working to restore this important habitat. You will be able to find details of the various project areas and events on this website.

It also allows members of the public to help the project by giving their high elevation sightings of rare plants. These are then plotted on a google map shown on the website.

The website is fully editable by the Project's administrator using the online administration system. However, each of the projects also has it's own administrator. Each of whom have a separate login to administer their project and post news stories relevant to it.
