Pylons Campaign

We don't usually place news stories about sites until we've completed them, but this is an unusual case.Permission is being sought to create new power transmission lines from the Highlands down to the Central Belt. These will converge around the small town of Beauly, an area already blighted by pylons, but the new ones will be 7 times larger than those currently there.We're assisting with the campaign to bury these power lines over some or all of their route to reduce the visual mess and reduce the potential health risks.There is only a limited time to object to the Scottish Executive.We'll be working on a new website over the next days and weeks.
