The Lodge Guest House in Elgin provides top quality accommodation only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Elgin. Though the Lodge had undergone substantial renovations to enhance the accommodation even further, its old web site had become somewhat dated and difficult for the owner to update.
Plexus were asked to design a clean new site and provide easy-to-use editing facilities so the owner could make changes to the site quickly and get on with her core business of providing excellent accommodation. In addition it was crucial that the site build on its good historical ranking in search engines, and propel it even further up the rankings.
We developed the site to be simple and elegant, but with new photography by Andrew Dowset helping to show the guest house at its best, and our ‘Webstarter’ CMS lets the owner update the site as and when she needs. The Lodge Guest House has continued to move inexorably up Google rankings as a result of the site redevelopment.

28 February 2008 – The Lodge Guesthouse, Elgin new website
The Lodge is described as "One of the outstanding town houses of Elgin" Located in a quiet conservation area, and is only a 5 minute walk from the Town Centre and the Railway Station.
They needed a fresh new branding and a way to easily keep their website up to date.
