As former clients of Plexus Media back in 2008, CES returned to us in 2013 asking us to take over their current website but provide an easier to use CMS as the original supplied by a third-party was proving kludgy and frustrating to use. The look and feel maintains their preferred original styling, but the back-office facilities are now based entirely on our WebStarter CMS and their day-to-day editing is now much easier. The whole project was undertaken at very short notice to synchronise with the termination of prior site hosting, but Plexus managed to complete the project on time and on budget.

28 October 2008 – Community Energy Scotland – Sustainable Energy Development
We have recently completed the administration system for the new Community Energy Scotland website. This was based on a design by 2bcreative who had recently developed a new marketing brand for them.
CES are an independent Scottish Charity, actively supporting and funding community groups throughout Scotland to develop sustainable energy projects. They deliver the community stream of the Scottish Government’s Scottish Community and Householder Renewables Initiative (SCHRI) in the Highlands and Islands. They also received funding from Highlands and Islands Enterprise to provide advice and funding for community energy projects located in the Highlands and Islands. They are aiming however to develop our support role to communities across Scotland, with full coverage by 2009.
