Colin has been involved in helping to fundraise for African Wild Dog conservation projects since about 2002, primarily through his own Save the African Wild Dog site. His interest in and concern for the fragile state of the African Wild Dog (also called the Painted Dog) was triggered by watching a documentary on BBC2 entitled 'Newky: A Wild Dog's Story', which covered several months in the life of a wild dog pack in Botswana, monitored by Tic McNutt and his Botswana Predator Conservation Trust team. Sadly, that programme finished with Newky being shot by a farmer.
So, we were delighted to be approached by the BPCT and asked to revamp their website and make it easier for them to update. The CMS-driven site will now let them make updates quickly, stay in contact with their supporters, and free time to concentrate more on vital predator conservation projects.
