The Cairngorms Construction Skills Project aims at encouraging the learning of new skills in sustainable house building amongst unemployed young adults. As part of the project, as well as learning about different building techniques and technologies, trainees will also attend Inverness College (UHI), which is funding training which leads to a recognised qualification.
Plexus were commissioned to create and attractive, easily edited web site for the project, and to programme a system for easily allowing the addition of training videos and pictures as the project progresses.
The site currently includes Plexus’s WebStarter content management system for easy day-to-day editing, but will also feature custom-coded video file management capabilities as the project develops over the next 12 months.
