21 August 2006 – Tornagrain – A planned town for the Highlands
Moray Estates Development Company Limited are producing plans to create a new town at Tornagrain, mid-way between Inverness and Nairn, and close to Inverness Airport.When complete, the town will be home to 10,000 people.Their aim is to create a town built to traditional design principles: a compact, vibrant town that people of all ages and from all backgrounds will want to live in and be proud of.Based on a design by Redelk the site was developed by Plexus Media at very short notice.
